writergal
Is early morning exercise supposed to rev up your metabolism? I already get up early for my long-term temp job, and thought about trying to incorporate 30 minutes of exercise before breakfast. I normally don't exercise until the evening or afternoons on the weekends. But I want to get consistent. So, morning workouts. Before or after breakfast? And are they more effective than evening workouts?
Emilia
I've never found any evidence of morning workouts being better for me except that they made me more tired during the day I do high intensity/anaerobic workouts and those burn a lot of calories regardless the time of the day. I think you should do what works for you best long term as it's about lifestyle choices more than anything. If getting up early in the morning helps with your schedule, try that.
