I love the song "There goes my life" it's very sweet and emotional..

However, the song my Daughters Dad and I requested to be played when she was born wasn't an actual song about children or written for a child.. it is by The Bodeans, and is called "Good Things" LOL I still get emotional when I hear it played...

I also like John Mayers song "Daughters"

"Sweet Baby James" by James Taylor

"Lullaby (Goodnight My Angel)" by Billy Joel. This one always makes me cry, reminds me of the relationship between my mom and me ....

That was my graduation song

ours -- in eighth grade AND in our senior year -- was "Come Sail Away" by Styx. nn okay song in and of itself, but I grew to hate it after awhile. However, Cartman's version of it (from "South Park") makes me laugh my butt off, and I tell people THAT was how the song was meant to go :p
