jonwashington Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Theres a girl in one of my college classes..she has stared at me for seconds at a time when she comes into the room or leaves..like longer than normal stares. It has happened a good amount of times..but i never said hi to her or anything. —Today we were in the same study lounge and i asked her if she is passing the math class we are both in together.....and she said “Yea im doing okay.. what math are you taking???? i said ...”we are in the same class”. And she replied “ohh i didnt know, i sit up in front so im not sure who is in the class..... Lol why would she play dumb. We dont know eachother but she knows i am in the class because she stares. lol so wtff is going on here. Did she never think i would talk to her and didnt know what to say? Blind-Sided Posted April 26, 2019 Share Posted April 26, 2019 College is the best time of your life... and there are a lot of people to interact with. Next time you see her in class, say... "See... we are in the same class." And laugh about it. If you are doing well in th class... ask her if she wants to study together. OR... next time you see her in that study hall... ask her to go grab a coffee, or some school function. If she says she isn't interested... I'm sure there are other girls you can ask. Since she didn't respond to your overture, take that as a lack of interest . Lol she has looked dead at me. I sit all the way in the back. Its obvious. There was no “overture”. Scarlett.O'hara Posted April 27, 2019 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Did you really think a self professed "front of the class" girl is going to admit that she knows who you are because she checks you out every time you walk through the door? No way! She was probably so caught off guard that you finally spoke to her that she was just trying to play it cool. That doesn't make her weird, just a bit shy. Nothing wrong with that.
