I’m now in loserville

Recommended Posts

I just graduated college with an engineering degree. I’ve been rejected by everyone I’ve asked out. Now I’m a college graduate who’s never had a date with or even kissed a woman. I’m now a loser.

No, you're not a loser, but what you need to do is capitalize on that engineering degree you have and not concentrate on what's not working right. Follow your career and focus on it and try to excel at it. Along the way, you'll eventually meet someone.

You are a college graduate with a degree in engineering. You are not a loser. You probably spent a tremendous amount of time focused on your academic career without taking the time to study social behavior. Learning to interact effectively with the opposite sex is a skill just like all of the engineering expertise you mastered in your college classes. Now that you have your degree & presumably a job, put your academic prowess to work mastering a new skill -- interpersonal interactions. Get this stuff right will also advance your career because you will better able to talk to management & clients.

The engineering degree does not help or hurt your dating success. Only thing I can think of is maybe you're wearing those pocket protectors, haha! And maybe fewer girls in your major, that's why you didn't get much experience.

Engineering unless he happens to be in a sector where women engineers abound, is not a women dense occupation. An acquaintance once told me that of many years working in top engineering projects around the world he had only met enough women engineers to almost occupy two hands ie <10.

The OP needs to actively seek out women friendly hobbies, groups and interests, places where he can meet and interact with single women.
