She's in her mid to late 50's and she said with her recent lack of success in dating, this guy is probably the only outlet for an "itch needing to be scratched." For a person who has never done this, but to have been driven to this point in order to even toy with the idea of doing it due to recent lack of success in dating. What does that say about the dating world? Can a person be faulted into attempting such a risk? SOme people were against it because of serious risk of STDs as the FWB situation allows no loyalties to the person you are having sex with...that one day, the person your doing it with may run into a woman/man and decide to fool around with them, too. So this suggests there's nothing likely monogamous about an FWB situation. Also it may or may not open up a can of worms to someone who has NEVER done this esp. if they aren't the KIND of person who had NEVER considered such an arrangement before. But if dating has driven one to the point of considering this situation, is this unhealthy? "Yeah, I haven't had a date in 3 years, but there's this woman that's kind of cute, though she's a welfare mother with 6 kids, I'll just stop by her house to get my jollies" Actually knew a guy like this that had a convenience of a female neighbor he did it with, but was still out looking for girlfriend material. Anyhow, sorry to get on a tangent there. Any idea of if its even a good idea and your thoughts to have been driven to this conclusion one's life? Is this even a form of settling?
