D.Mc.
So, Friday after midnight I sent a Facebook friend request to a man from my school that I thought was attractive, but more importantly might be able to help me in my job search. He was someone I would say hello to about once a week in the hallway & he was in 2 of my classes from prior semesters. Did I hedge my bets by waiting until after I graduated to do this (I am no longer going to the school as of this week)? - Yes Did I take the coward's way out w/Facebook to start with, since I had one or two opportunities to chat w/him in the hallway of school but didn't? - Yes As of today: no reply, and you know what, it's okay. I made the first move & he rejected me. The sun continues to rise each day & I'm still living (although unemployed). This is for the women who can't possibly bring themselves to make the first move in any pursuit, romantic or not. You try, something or nothing happens, you go on.
