IMO: why it's so hard to find the good ones

Sometimes it helps to think in 180-degree terms... I mean, why do the jerks seem to be winning all the "best" men and women (or at least maintain the illusion)?

 

I think part of the reason is because many of the men and women who play games, act like jerks, show off, try to tell others how to do it, etc etc, can't see themselves coming and going. Instead, they're pleasure-centered, like those white rats in lab cages who learn how to push a lever to get a food pellet.

 

You may be #1 now, but how will it look when you're 80? Will you still be playing games and making rules?

LOLWTF the jerks don't get the 'best' ones. I know guys that are like that BELIEVE ME 9 times out of 10 you don't want what they bring home. Same goes for the girls with bad taste in men, ****ing bring home STDs, no account ex-husbands, drugs, on and on.

 

Really, I've read plenty of your posts and it just sounds like you need to "get out" more. Socialize with people at work, outside of work, whatever.

LOL it's not possible to turn a loner into a popular guy overnight; and anyways, the only "outs" here in L.A. are nightclubs, and those are not for me.

 

Very soon, however, there will be another "out"... but I won't discuss it here because I'm not going to get my butt paddled by the admin again.

Then sell the house (if I remember right you have a house you inherited, correct?) and get a place somewhere that you WANT to live. Seriously as a young, single guy you have EVERY option.

 

Unless you live in a part of town that has bars on the windows and a 9mm under every pillow your house is probably worth 150-200k. There are LOTS of places you can go man. LOTS.

 

Real Estate investment is one of my hobbies, if you want to be someplace else believe me I can clue you in to some areas that are 1) cheap 2) safe and 3) with good economies. There are tons out there.

 

You just have to DO IT. Take a risk. That's all.
