Girl with a boyfriend.. I like her, she likes me..

I am in a tough situation.. I met a girl my freshman year of college while I was dating a girl whom I just broke up with (I am now a senior.) I did not see her much after my freshman year but, she is now a graduate assistant in my mentors office. She is kind, sweet, generous, genuine and she has a boy friend. Normally this is the big sign that tells me "off limits" and normally I would follow that.. BUT.. I finally met her boyfriend who she has been dating for the past two years.. (Keep in mind, the relationship I have with this girl is professional.. I have never openly flirted with her out of respect for her relationship)

I saw her and her boyfriend out at a bar a couple of nights ago. We sat near each other.. Before I went to introduce myself and say hello, I noticed the girl got a little more affectionate towards her BF.. To me this is a sign that she likes me, I could be wrong.. When I approached them I introduced myself to her boyfriend.. She rolled her eyes when he talked..

Basically, I think she likes me, I like her and she has a boyfriend.. I am interested enough in her to at least let her know that I am interested but, how do I do it subtly?

I know there are lots of girls out there but, it is very seldom that I come across a girl i would actually be interested in pursuing a relationship with.

Your thoughts?

my thoughts are this

If she wants to be with you she would break up with her boyfriend. There isn't anything FORCING her to stay with him and if she is unhappy or wants to do something with you then she needs to be gone from him. Also any girl that is willing to cheat on her boyfriend doesn't have the highest of morals and what do you think will stop her from cheating on you? Needless to say I wouldn't touch this girl with a ten foot pole until she is single

Ofcourse, ofcourse. I am not that type of guy and she does not strike me as that type of girl.. Should I at least let her know that I am interested? I could wait but, sometimes unhappy relationships last years before someone finally works up the courage to do something about it.

No good can come of this and your initial reaction was right.

Girl has boyfriend, she's off limits.

Since she's the one with a current partner, if she's interested in you she will (should!) break up with him first.

Well, my thoughts are that she is completely off limits. But for you that means she is interested in you. Girls tend to give mix signals so you never know.

Just do what you think is right. Think about this what if you had a gf and some other dude liked her, would you want the guy to tell your gf how he feels and bring new and different emotions to the relationship? (what I mean is that she might like you and act differently with her bf or vice versa).

Best of luck!
