Does he likes me romantically

Recommended Posts

Over a month now I ve started talking daily through texts with a colleague of mine, who lives in another city. I ve seen him only twice, at office gatherings, and last time we saw each other there was prolonged eye contact and out of the blue he was holding my hand with both his hands for over 5 minutes (I assumed it was his way of saying goodbye to me 'cause he was leaving). Anyways, few days ago he texted  me that he likes my personality and that I have gained his interest and he wants to know more about me. I m confused as I don't know if he is into me or just being friendly

Does not hurt to just talk to him and see where it goes, worst case scenario is that it turns out he is not interested in you romantically - but we move on :)

I don’t know about that guy, but if I hold a woman’s hand for 5 minutes it definitely means I’m romantically interested (unless it’s my close female relative).

Men don't use these words when they only want to be friends. If you also like him then tell him you also have gain an interest in him. Next thing he should invite you on a date.

He holds your hand for five minutes and you're thinking he wants to only be a friend? Come on now!

But here's a problem. Why did you let him hold your hand for five minutes if you were not sure what was going on. Speak up! You're already way too passive.

I love his approach.

He's interested, wants to get to know you to see if theres any romance there :lmao:

Even if he is interested in you, are you interested in him?   Is dating someone who's living in another city what you want for yourself?

That said, he could just want casual sex.

Now let's be clear. He seems interested at this time. Doesn't mean after spending more time with you that he would be interested.

And his interest does not mean you should be interested in him. If you're not, then don't meet up and keep talking to him.

When we say someone is "interested" all that means is that the person wants to get to know you better. Does not mean they are a good match for you.

Wow, that seems like it would be quite awkward - especially at an office gathering and considering that you two don't really know each other.  Did you feel comfortable with this?
