Husband lusting on LinkedIn?

Recommended Posts

A little jealousy is normal. It means that someone cares about the person very deeply, but this is too much jealousy.

I know you're working with a therapist, but maybe you could try to work on your jealousy on your own as well. Talk to yourself in the mirror and talk yourself out of negative, jealous thoughts. Find ways to redirect your thoughts when you begin to become jealous. One thing to try is take up a hobby that takes a lot of your time and concentration. It could be anything from painting to crochet to running. Anything that will take your mind off of the jealousy and the potential for it to become a reality. Another idea could be to focus on the positive things you have in your life.

Make a list of the things or people that make you feel happy and put it somewhere you can easily see it. Instead of letting your mind drift off to jealous thoughts, focus on the list of positive things around you. It might take a while, but eventually you'll find ways to keep the jealousy from taking over.

You can't control what your husband does, but you can control how you react and cope with it.
