Is it common for women to be this forward on a first date?

Recommended Posts

Our first date was last Saturday, and it couldn’t have gone any better.

We went to an arcade, played some games, grabbed some drinks, ate a cake, played some more, drunk some more.

At one point, I teased her for going to the loo so often, and when she came back she was “I think you should kiss me”.

Never had this happen to me.

That sounds like a really fun first date. And I don’t think that’s terribly forward. I’ve had guys ask me if they could kiss me on first dates. What about it bothers you? That she assumed that you would want to kiss her?

That's great. Not too forward at all. She came out of the loo still clothed, correct?

Haha yes! basically I told her “You’re spending more quality time with a toilet than me. If you manage to go 10 times tonight, I might get jealous and leave” she laughed, playfully hit me and then she came back (clothed).

Last night, she was like “You have such beautiful eyes” and I was like “tell me something I don’t already know” and she laughed, hit me, and cuddled up.

What bothers me is that maybe I missed the cues to kiss her, but oh well

It really was a great date. Last night was pretty damn good too

There is a lot of drinking so put this in perspective. I wouldn't think anything of it. Limit the drinks in future and go on a nice dinner. See how you both vibe with one another.

Lol! Good. Honestly, it sounds like an awesome date.

We slept together for the first time last night. Her flatmate, who’s a friend of mine invite a bunch of people to her’s for dinner.

There’s definitely strong chemistry.

Sounds like you’ve got it under control!

Idk… I’m trying to be chill about it, but inside I’m realising how much I really like her and I don’t want to act like a fool.

Yeah….but the first kiss thing really isn’t something to worry about. And I doubt you’re acting like a fool. It sounds like she likes you.

It just means she likes you. Good you are rolling with it. Do not be shocked if a first date ends with sex at some point, it certainly happens.

When they have a high level of interest right off the bat, yes.

Sometimes you will just check all of the boxes for a woman immediately, or at least what's she's looking for at the moment.   Enjoy it.

Oh yes, I went in for a kiss once. But he seemed shocked afterwards. 😆

I grabbed my husband and kissed him on our first date. Some women are assertive. Most guys don't have time to react in my experience, and happily so because there is no worry more like excitement/fun.
