Hurt Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I broke up with my gf because she would not stop constant with her ex of 7 yrs ago, when we were just friends, she told me she still loved him etc..we became invilved for ten months, she lied to me one sunday about what she was doing, I found out she was going to her exs house, i told her i was hust, 2 months ago she tells me he is in town and is headed to his house, i blew up and broke with her, i emailed 3 times in two months telliher i missed her and still loved her, she emaled me 2 days ago telling me it was over with us! no contact does not work, if you love that person call them before too much time passes, i wish i had, was i wrong? what eles could i have done?

If you love someone then try to make it work, if it doesnt then you can try the friends route. But it all depends on the guy. Some guys cant be friends with an ex. You dont get too many chances so make it work if you can. Dont let pride get in your way.
