Ever been rejected for the dumbest reason?

I got rejected a long while ago for no being over 6 ft tall. It sounds stupid but this actually happened. Maybe there was other reasons but that was something real odd to hear. It actually mad me laugh

I once was asked by a date if I would go home and change from pants to a skirt as thats what he preferred.

 

Obviously, I went home. For the night. Alone. Laughing.

well I have lets say dumped someone for a rather silly reason but he was annoying me... Basically he was an Abercormbie model..very hot.. takes me out...the guy wouldnt stop looking at himself in anything that reflected.. I said to him listen... you are looking fine.. I assure you that you are looking fine.. but no... I somehow got through the evening but later texted him that he is too good for me.. ( I am more honest about rejection reasons now, that was about 3.5 year ago)

I have a similar experience as London. The guy was really good looking, but stuck on himself. His profile name was "Euro handsome." On our first date, he pointed out a woman and said she was looking at him. He kept commenting how women were looking at him.

 

As beautiful as he was one the outside, he was empty and vapid on the inside. I made up an excuse to stop seeing him.

Had a girl stop dating because she felt I was pushing sex on her. I had kissed her, pationately yes - but hands didn't go anywhere..

 

I'm perfectly happy not to waste time with irrational people so I'd actualy prefer they get their craziness out in the open sooner

Well, the reasons they gave were dumb but I seriously doubt those were the true reasons.

 

I think the top dumb reason i've heard was "you changed".

Sure. I was at the club. I had just walked back from the bar with my fresh drink in hand and a guy friend tried to drag me out onto the dancefloor- with my drink. I told him I'd just bought the drink, I wanted to enjoy it first then cut a rug. Without saying anything, he did an about face and POOFed!

Aside from the height rejection, I've been rejected (Even though things were seemingly going well) because I didn't disagree with her enough. It boggled my mind.

I got dumped once because I wasn't black, more specifically than that, not a South American type black person.

 

I couldn't figure out what she was doing with me in the first place? Maybe she was being kind? But in a totally baffling way. She was blonde, might not be relevant.

One guy broke up with me because he felt that I was too aggressive sexually. I thought that guys were supposed to like it when the woman initiates? Not this guy. We couldn't even hold hands unless HE initiated it. Crazy!!

I answered his ad ( this was years ago btw, and mine clearly stated that I was 5'2) Well, we wrote back and forth for a week and he seemed to love my pictures ( Oh my god, you are Gorgeous) and the letters seemed to be flowing fine and friendly.

 

And then:

 

I get an e-mail saying " I am so sorry melody, but I just realized that you are only 5'2. I can really only see myself with someone between 5'7 and 5'10 "

To me short is adorable. As long as your 4'10"(may be even less) its about one of the cutest features I think.

:lmao: Seriously ! And he was only 6 ft even, the two men I dated before him were both 6'2 ! As long as we can laugh at these idiots we come across online it's all good ! My dating range is like 22-62 yrs old and 5'4-7 foot, any race, any educational level because I think it's damn stupid to narrow ones preferences too much ! ( Though I obviously am a lot more open minded than most)
