D-Lish Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 DAMN! A lot of surprises in this thread. I think the women being around five years older is no big deal at all. But over 10 years older just makes me cringe. Even if its the other way around its still weird. Woah, did you actually have a relationship with them or you only hit it and quit it? Never call any of them a relationship in the traditional sense. We had nothing in common. I used to rationalize it "hanging around" with each other for a few months.

Ruby Slippers Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 How much younger are you talking and how old are you? I'm 34, and this guy is 25. But it's not just his age that turns me off. He's a bit promiscuous, which I also find off-putting. He seems to be looking for something more serious, but he has his fun in the meantime. He was in his mid-twenties when they met. Certainly, he didn't need my mother to baby him or treat him like a child. . . actually, in some ways, he's always been quite traditionally nurturing himself. Yeah, I guess this is more about energy. Just thinking about this younger guy, his energy screams "let me make you feel great and put a smile on your face", which is cool.
JustJoe Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 When GF and I were separated, I dated (read fu*ked) 2 girls that were way younger than I (19,21)......I felt like a perv. I also dated (same thing) a woman more my age (29 hers 27) and it felt more natural, to me. I think that anything over 8 years difference is too much. JMO.
