Ange Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I'm trying not to seem completely self-indulgent, but I fear my sanity is at stake... A few days ago, I finished work at 7pm, which is quite late. My boss and I were the only ones left in the office. He asked if I wanted to have some dinner afterwards. We went and had dinner until around 11pm and when he dropped me back at my car (still parked at the office) we kept talking until 1am. The conversation was not work-related, and was very mentally stimulating for me - as we share similar interests in literature and psychology. However, as mentioned, he is my boss, and he is fourteen years older than me. I am unsure as to whether I have read too far into this. Is it possible that he could have genuinely just wanted to talk, knowing we are interested in the same things, or are there other motives at heart? Please be honest!
