guarded Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 would you guys tell a girl she's beautiful even if you didnt mean it? i know the word 'hot' gets thrown around quite easily but when a man looks you in the eye and says you're so beautiful he generally means it right?

Author guarded Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 you can tell from the passion whether he means it or not. if it's the same guy that couldn't keep his hands off you in the previous thread you posted, then you can probably believe him it's the same one... we didnt get to finish what we started and i jokingly (i actually meant it) said: u can be honest...its me isnt it? he held me, pulled me away and looked me in the eyes and said: im telling you the truth, its not you.. you're so beautiful... and he brought up how he had the biggest crush on me all those years ago...but all i could say was that things change (because when we got in touch again and we got to talking about the past he said that he thinks he cant feel the same way as he used to..he got defensive and didnt wanna talk about it when i told him he wasnt making any sense when he said that its hard being around me because of he thinks that it might rekindle old feelings-which i said shouldnt even be the case if he knows he cant ever feel that way for me again right?) when i asked him what was wrong he mumbled and said that he was confused about his ex and me, i pretended i didnt hear it and he said that its because of his situation... when i said my goodbyes, we hugged for a little while and i told him ill miss him, i left and didnt look back. about 10mins later he sent me a msg: im so sorry, im so f*** up..we are still friends yeah? i didnt respond and he sends another 'are we ok' i probably sound insane but deep in my heart i feel like there's something there (we seriously had a moment) but i cant be sure unless it comes from him....do you guys think he has feelings for me?

I went always with the i adore you, you are so hot and similar superficial frases.
LBTEX Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I don’t think they are equal. I use beautiful to describe the person in terms of personality and more than just looks. For example, you can be “HOT” (physically attractive) but an ugly person (mean spirited, full of yourself, etc). Likewise you can be a”BEAUTIFUL” person (socially, mentally, spiritually) without necessarily being physically attractive. I think you have to see what context it is being used in.
