Well I have a seriouse gf but I'll play anyways.

 

With so many posters proclaiming they are destined for loneliness due to criteria beyond their control, I thought it'd be interesting to start a thread to figure out who would date whom based on said criteria.

 

I am convinced most of the bitter single people on this board are single cause they're bitter.... not cause they're fat/ bald/ poor/ come with baggage.

The job wouldn't do anything for me. 140 lbs is heavy but you may carry it well at 5'8 so you should put some recent pics up. So are you a "pothead" or you just feel like one. To me pothead sounds like imature.

You should not be insecure about any of those things. Being kind, respectful and honest is something you should always strive to be. Also lack of experience in serious relationships means nothing if you live in the moment. Don't worry about the past or future and just enjoy the now.

Insecurity: I have zero confidence I my own social skills and tend to take everything people say way too seriously, that and body image stuff.

Divorces: 1, I figure I have a right to leave someone who threatened to kill me without having to feel bad about it.

I would not date a woman with kids.I can't imagine 180lbs looking good even if you were 5'8 (funny that you compare yourself to the woman on madmen). I generaly don't date women older then me although that is not an absolute deal breaker like the Kids thing.

Thanks :). well in my defense, powerlifting is different from bodybuilding. We lift for strength while bodybuilders usually obsess over size and appearance. :) So powerlifters tend to have pretty dense, strong muscles but not the crazy size like those silly bodybuilders. Just a little info you probably don't care about haha

 

Besides, I also played clarinet and a little tenor sax:love:

 

 

Okay, I learn something new every day. Powerlifting does sound better than bodybuilding, more about substance I guess. And I love the sax ;)

Because I don't have a pic like that of me and didn't feel like taking one. My "point" if you will, is that basic height, weight, data really doesn't tell you how someone looks. And in a time when women are pressured to be thin, I think lots habitually lie about their weight from stars to regular people and so no one has a real idea of what a real weight looks like.

 

Your preference for thin women is well known by this point, I don't know why you are picking at me.

I know what weight looks like. 180lbs is just to heavy for a woman especialy if she is 5'2. It's really unhealthy and doesn't look great. I would suggest you drop your denial and lose at least 40lbs by eating more meals 5-6 a day spread out from the morning until about 3-4 hours before bed. I also suggest you drink mostly only water no sugar added and incorporate a lot of fruits, nuts, and vegatables in your diet in a way that you enjoy it and it doesn't feel like some weight loss goal.

I would have to say at that size it all depends on how you wear it. If everything is well porportioned and relatively firm, you are active and healthy, and your attitude is confident and sexy then lots of men would be very into you, and I have dated a few like that. On the other hand, I can see how someone with that height/weight ratio could easily become poorly porportioned, flabby, sedentary, and insecure, which many men would find unattractive.

 

This is that borderground where the details about a person that don't easily convey in text become critically important.

That was the point! I made this thread in response to all the bitter threads from people who felt they couldn't get dates because their stats weren't ideal: you know, all the women claiming men only wanted size 0's, or the men claiming girls only date rich guys.

 

My point was that these stats DON'T mean anything - only in very extreme cases would they be a dealbreaker for a normal person, in the presence of a nice personality.
