Because while you guys whine about can't find this or get that, I have a great job, great kids, nice house, and take care of myself. But hey, I can see how that would be really unattractive to the men on this board.

I still have some standards, but those standards are more flexible for the truly good women. I may pass the time with the slutty little club girls, but I am on the search for a good one, and I recently met a good one that has promise.

They universally reject my advances outright in favor of a weak, fixer upper guy, often an addict of some type, usually with BS pouring off him in rivers. Materialistic, mercedes driving blonde bombshell alcoholic sex & the city types, usually in marketing, in all age ranges, are on me like flies on poo.

I used to be the pretentious tortured artist guy. I woke up, threw away my black clothes, and now those women you speak of are harder to attract.

And consider anything less to be settling to a level that you find to be insulting to your self. LOL, stbx was 5'1-180 and had ten times the partners I had. She wasn't actually completely available when I met her, but at least she wasn't in a committed relationship or marriage. Other than some generalized anger issues (she hated the farm workers out here) she was pretty stable. A little detached, but stable. Ok, a lot detached Now, if a response encouraging the posting of such a thread to sincerely learn better locations to meet such ladies (I met stbx back when online dating was 'new') was offered, I'm all ears. For me, out here, it's the post office and the supermarket. Match.com has exactly three matches from ages 18-55 within ten miles of my location. I'll saddle up and head into podunkville if that'll help my chances. There's a Starbucks there.

My current girlfriend in fact is the only woman who ever showed any interest in me from the first time we met. I've never been a person who's dated a lot. Now that I've "come into my own" women who I thought would never give me attention do. Or maybe it's being unavailable which is very funny.
