john 07 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Hey guys! So this past friday I finally met another girl after my last horrid rejection after 2 dates last month. I met this girl through a friend at a bar this past weekend out of all places. We totally clicked even though we had a language barrier. So the next day I texted her(I texted cuz i knew she was busy with work) is she wanted to get dinner sunday. She told me she was going to meet with some friends and had dinner plans and said that next week is better. I told her if next friday or saturday would be better....she replied ok and see you then. I said i would call her during the week to confirm a solid time. Now im stuck on when i should contact her again sometime this week. I know I wont be seeing her for a week so I know i should contact her again sometime this week to show that im still interested. I just dont know when i should....Any tips??.....also maybe some topics on what I can talk about with her. PS: im a date newb =/

You already told her you would...so what's the problem? If you feel like contacting her more than once or twice in the week then you look desperate. She's interested enough to agree to meet with you again.

I mean. . . was it written in blood? How could a rejection 2 dates in be traumatizing? I met this girl through a friend at a bar this past weekend out of all places. No. No screw up there. That makes it better, actually. I thought maybe she was just delaying seeing you. If there are legitimate circumstances, that's different.

You call, ask or leave a message with your intent, and if she doesn't return the call, you move on to the next.

I think calling seems a bit more appropriate here. Just sending her a text could give the impression that he's not really interested. And also because he already told her he'd call.
