Still no confirmation on plans. Lucky guy. Little does he know he can get laid in Houston if he just shows up.

I'll be in Branson on Monday...if he's not careful, I'll fly into Florida for drinks Very funny!!! I travel all the time and am convinced airports are romantic. I meet lots of cool guys there. However, this guy is the 1st I have given my number to. Looks like the consensus is he will call/text on Monday when he gets in. After this, I will never leave a "hole" in my schedule. Ha ha.
carhill Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 If you're ever flying up front and an otherwise 'average' looking chatty guy gives you a 'business' card that says 'Got Miles?' on the back, that would be me. IMO, and this is something I had to learn the hard way, a healthy dynamic has *balance*, whether that is achieved naturally or with purpose. To me, it *feels* right when I get the sense that both of us are on the same page working towards each other, rather than in tangential directions. I've ignored this elemental sensibility at my own peril and loss. Hope it works out for you
Author FL Lady Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 I'm in a similar spot. Met a girl end of June. I'm a pilot, live in Chicago, she lives in Ohio. I've gone out there 3 times so far. Last week I told her if she would like to do another dinner date. She told me tomorrow night would work best. I told her I get done flying at 2pm, could take the 4pm flight to Ohio. I then told her "You let me know................" Brought it up 2 days to her, and she said we would talk about it later. When 2pm comes tomorrow, and there is no mention of an official date from her, I will go home, and have fun in Chicago. Sad, yes, wish I was going to see her, sure, but I'm not going to chase. Ball is in her court, I've made my attempts. Good Luck. BTW - I really like this girl too. Ugh! That's why I hate games. Luckily his guy has told me several times we are getting together this week. Unfortunately I TUI (texted under the influence) and told him I am totally hot for him. Which I am. Hope I did screw it up since men are...supposedly "hunters" and supposedly lose interest. I wanted to puke when I read my texts. Kinda laughed actually. He was very flirty back and said he was hot for me too. Oh well we'll see. If not, one if my guys friends blurted out to me in person and email that he thinks I am so "hot". He 'll be a fun Plan B, but I CAN'T wait for next week to arrive. And I'm 40. Life is fun. Counting the days.....
