For the heck of it, i googled his screen name that he uses to chat with me. apparently he uses the internet often. he is on several sites. i really need your help on figuring this out. i don't know if i should think anything of it. he has an yahoo id, and of course yahoo mail. so googling his id, there was a link, where his name is included in a couple of websites. its showing that he commented on something, but i can't tell what it is. i'm freaked out because one is a gay guy site. the other is some web cam site. it is saying its cached. what does cached mean? i can't seem to view the link but its there and his name is there. i wonder if he is gay and has been on the gay site. below is an example of what link appears like. www.some gay site.com%20%20www.webcam site.com/some girls profile -Cached on the end where I have "some girls profile", that is actually some girls profile from the web cam site. i was able to view her profile. i can't figure out if he commented on the web cam site or gay site. sorry if this makes no sense, as i'm trying to describe what im seeing. i'm a bit freaked out. i want to know if you can tell if he has been on a gay site. thanks Edited December 6, 2009 by freakedoutgirl

I really should finish my coffee before posting. its ok. its definitely his name coming up. i know its him. i just don't know what to make of this link. some may think why make a huge deal over a link, but its hard to forget what i saw. i just dont know enough about links or why certain things come up. maybe i'm on the wrong site for help lol

Thinking this through, how else can you confirm if a person has visited a website? Its probably more technical, I'd imagine. Ask the dude.

The computer stored a copy of the page last time it went by there, but it's an old copy so the description they have may not still be an accurate representation of the page. Gaysite.com/Girls Profile - The fact that it's a gay domain doesn't mean anything, you said it was a girls profile? The top level domain it was on means less than the actual page he was viewing. He might have been redirected there by clicking on a porn link, or by viewing a webcam and had nothing to do with anything gay. Either way - you snoop you get burned. You should be looking at this guy based on how he relates to you, not what the internet says about him.

If you KNOW for SURE it is him and this kind of behavior goes against your moral standards, I would ask him about it. Watch his reaction, if he tries to trivialize or uphold it...it is probably not a good idea to continue with him. All I can say is to some degree I know how you feel right now. It is not fun to wonder what the hell kind of fascinations are going on in their head. Whether it is a random event or something that you should be concerned about is something only time can tell. To be honest with you, if I was early on in dating someone and saw that, I would tell him that I googled his ID and what I saw, and if there is something to be concerned about. If he is defensive about you Googling him, just cut your losses and move on. Anybody who's anybody Googles ID's of a prospective partner. If they say they don't they are either lying, or they are oblivious to the wierdos out there.
