First, pof deleted my profile because of their strange automatic system of deleting profiles. There is no way that they would post my profile probably because of IP sreen or smth like that. I had a profile with them a yr ago and then deleted it. Second, I posted my profile on OKC. They do not put my profile in searches. They do not have any support/help service to give advice how to get into searches. Therefore, no man can see me in searches. They told me to answer tons of questions and i spent a lot of time on that. But it did not help to get into searches. Then they told me that I should contact men by myself. I wrote emails to men expressing my desire to get to know them better. They were able to see my profile and answer me. But it is the only way( to email men by myself ) how men can see me on that site. Does anybody know if OKC has any advice on how to get into searches? Any suggestions on what those strange/unusual things I should do to be visible by men? I have a long decent profile, answered their many questions, have several decent pics and I even did emailing men by myself. I have no idea what else can be done to please OKC.
CarrieT Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 How do you know your profile on OKC is not showing up on searches? And, because you have posted so often about your problems with FREE dating sites, have you thought of using PAID ones instead? You get what you pay for after all...
Author bac Posted December 5, 2009 Author Posted December 5, 2009 you are right. for some strange reason, when you pay, you get better service and even help. they even have phone# and emails for support. on the other hand, even service is great, it is a waste of money anyway because there is no real men available in my age group in 40s. It does not feel right to pay money for nothing. So, I thought I will try to get the same for free .
