bd10 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Hi all, As of last week I am together with my new girl friend. It was the second date so to speak and we hit it off. We can only see each other over weekends (3h car trip required). She’ll visit me for a few days/week over Xmas. We are tied up till then for the weekends. Needless to say, we both can hardly wait Would it be too early in the day to send her a little romantic letter/poem in the meantime? We have not uttered the words “I love you” and our first kiss is on the agenda this time. Do you think a love poem or so would be an overkill that early in the day? Many thanks, Ben
Bejita463 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Depending on how new this new girl is exactly, the note, poem, AND the 3 word combo are all bad ideas. All of them. Is there a specific rush? Relax guy.
JustLooking123 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 You've only had 2 dates? Am I misreading this? Eh, I don't know, it probably depends on the girl, but I consider 2 dates too early for that sort of thing.
deux ex machina Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Too much, too soon. If it's meant to be (as you seem to hope), you have all the time in the world. She won't value all of that if comes too soon -- with very good reason, btw.
DustySaltus Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 save your lifelines for when you need them two dates is not enough time
jerseyboy Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 save your lifelines for when you need them two dates is not enough time LOL He can send a note if he wants. Anything beyond how pretty he looked, or what a great time he had, would be too much though.
