Lakeside_runner Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I know there has been a similar post not so long ago - I didn't want to steal the thread... We've been seeing each other for 6 weeks now and we both are into sports. I'm a long distance runner, she wants to be one. I was thinking of putting together a combo: - a book by H. Higdon - "Marathon: the ultimate training guide" (an author-signed copy) - a Live-strong running t-shirt (she always has a live-strong bracelet on and has lost some relatives to cancer) - she told me once that her biggest fear is the fear of failure, so I was thinking of putting in a note saying that crossing the finish line of a marathon makes one feel like they can do everything and not fear to fail (well, more personal than that of course...) + this is totally true! Any suggestions or comments? I'd welcome any feedback...
New Again Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Sounds like you've put some thought into this = good
