It really is insulting to those of us who've worked hard to get what we have.

Please speak for yourself, I worked just as hard. I did not take offense in what the OP said nor did I feel my success as a career woman was undermined. (shrugs shoulders)

It is what it is. ;)

Who does this crap?

You treat old/fat/ugly girls like gold, and you treat the pretty ones like dirt. Otherwise your going to just be an epic fail with women.

Also, those guys who put women up on pedestals are always the biggest losers. I'm glad I had good friends in highschool who taught me early that you will never get anywhere in life by respecting women. Sometimes you should act like you do... but if you ever actually do... then you lose bigtime.

Treat everyone with respect unless they give you reason to do otherwise and you'll be a much happier, healthier, and better person.

And I feel sorry for you if you ever took a high schooler's advice. Teenagers aren't exactly brimming with wisdom or life-experience.

Wow you sounded a lot older The Way I am, didn't realize you were still in your early 20's. Cool!

Thanks. Not early, but still 20's.

I think it gets tiresome for some men when they encounter young women who have a princess attitude and they shouldn't. That was the point. :)
I'm going to agree to disagree with you about that being the point of the OP. Granted, it could be a lack of communication skills on kiske's part, but he came off very much as saying that he believes:

-Women are just handed everything and earn none of it.

-None of us have the skills for our jobs or the brains to get good grades in school, and we only got them because we're women and not ugly.

So flirting to bypass a line at a club is lowering your self respect?

I didn't realize clubbing was such a moral experience! We ARE talking about clubbing not church right? :p

I'm not talking about morality. I just think it's tacky and lacking in class. And usually the women I see trying it act very trashy.

If I could bat my eyelashes to get the hell out of the grocery store faster BELIEVE ME, I TOTALLY would.
*shrug* I really see no problem with waiting in line.

It's not so cut and dry, it's like saying so what if people are into skinny tight bodies, if you are fat let all those who like skinny bodies enjoy themselves and quietly be amused at their absurdity.
Not really the same, because not all skinny people are absurd. When you watch the attention wh*res and manipulators, they're pretty ridiculous to the point of being comical. It's pretty funny how they think they're the center of the world and better than everyone else.

When these women who take advantage of guys, turn around and then expect that kind of "royalty treatment" from all guys I am sure as a guy it can get pretty tiresome, and downright annoying.
I'm sure it can be for a guy who's on the same maturity level and is desperate for their attention. If these guys just realized those bratty women are a waste of time instead of wallowing in bitterness about it, they might find it pretty amusing. If they stopped spending so much time focusing on the women who are doing that and looked for the women who aren't, they might find someone worth their time. (They'd probably also have the brats falling all over them, because nothing is more appealing to an attention wh*re than a man who's not giving her attention.) Edited by The Way I Am

Note to the OP:

men still make more money and press the red buttons on the most important decisions in the world. Aside from the U.S. and Canada, men still pretty much rule the world and treat women like sh*t. Take at look at the Middle East and all the archaic misogyny that takes place over there. It's a man's world, for better or worse, so keep that in mind before going down the 'women have it better' road. Because they don't, not in 95% in the world.

PS. Don't treat these bratty spoiled chicks you encounter like they're princesses. It's what they expect and you have the glorious, individualistic power not to play their infantile, needy game. Some of them, when you ignore them or don't give into their whining, will have a fabulous temper tantrum that is hilarious to watch.
