Peter_G Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Ive had been in love with a work colleague for over a year now and i haven't had the chance to tell her. Just found out the hard way by her asking me to help out her bf parents as i work in a department store that see has a boyfriend (I was just so shocked and disappointed and it must of showed) it must of been in the last three weeks or so before that I knew she was single .Up till now see has always had that look and smile about her but actually she still kind of has. Maybe she gave up waiting for me to ask her out. Now within a few days of finding out i haven't seen her regularly like she is avoiding me but when i do its just awkward funny looks and all. It’s just not the same anymore I now just feel pain when I see her I can’t act normal around her. Should I tell her how I feel about her?

The only thing you can do is ask her out and hope a relationship will form. But if she already has a bf, then the proper thing for you to do is RESPECT that and leave her be. Especially if you work together.

I wouldn't say anything if there wasn't any connection between us eg asking me to dance at a work function.
