Why is he ignoring me

Hi, There is a guy that I have liked for a really long time. He knows that I like him too I'm pretty sure, its fairly obvious. We have hung out quite a few times, except I initiated everytime it but he never once said no. When I'm with him I feel like he may like me back because of the way he looks at me etc. He isn't a typical guy though in the sense that he is kind of introverted and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want a relationship with any girl right now. Which is fine, he is worth waiting for. He's also said a few things when he was away like that he was sorry he wasn't in touch all summer with me and things like that. He recently went traveling though and just came back. He has not made any contact with me, but has talked to a friend of mine he was friends with at school too saying hes coming back for a bit to visit and they should hang out( he doesn't like her she has a bf). Anyways I just want to know why he talks to everyone but me, and lets everyone else know that hes coming back, but not me? since we are friends too. Do you think its cause he has no interest in me so he ignores me?

It sounds to me like he knows you are interested, and is keeping his distance. From your post, it sounds like you read a lot into your friendship and assumed that he had feelings for you based on things he said, did, etc - none of which looked to me like a guy who is really interested. A guy who is really interested will go out of his way to make it clear. It isn't easy, because I can see you want this to happen between the two of you but for right now, I would fall back and see if he tries to get in touch with you. If he doesn't, then he isn't interested. If he does eventually, and all he wants to do is 'hang out' or 'catch up' then he isn't interested. If he gets in touch with you, asks you out and takes you on a date he is interested.

 

When a guy likes you in that way, you don't have to guess or assume. It is pretty clear when someone is genuinely interested.
