Only interested in Asian women

I am with you, shadowplay. Of course, people can date whoever they want. I'm not saying they can't. But in my experience, white guys who exclusively desire Asian women--and I've known plenty--are almost always obsessed with thin, petite female bodies. And they are obsessed with thin, petite bodies that are likely to STAY thin and petite forever.

 

My brother has dated nothing but Asian women all his life. My sister-in-law is from Thailand, and as devoted a husband my brother is, I think he would have a MAJOR meltdown if she ever gained 10 or 15 pounds. He HATES overweight women. Even a little extra body fat completely disgusts him. Most of the rice kings I've met are like that.

I have noticed that I only seem to be interested in dating Asian women. It's not that I don't find other women attractive, its just when it comes to actually wanting to be with someone I always find myself going for an asian woman without even thinking about it. I've dated 3 asian women in a row now, all amazing women, and the attraction just seems to grow stronger each time. I guess this is more of a comment than a question for anyone. Although I would be interested if any women find this creepy of not. I mean I have told a few of my guy friends but never any of my women friends.

 

i think it's best to keep an open mind to dating women (or men) of other races, and to only go after one is not the best plan. So for instance, if you only date Asians, you might be closing yourself down from some great women of a different race. I would date women of any group or ethnicity, as long as she can communicate in English. I have an Asian gf so I do see the appeal but Asians aren't so different from anyone else.

 

One thing I've noticed though is that it seems like Asian girls who are good looking are more willing to date average looking and nerdy white guys (what can I say, I'm one of them ) We have no chance with good looking Caucasian women so we go after good looking Asian women who give us a chance. Although I think stunning women of all races look down upon all us average looking and nerdy guys

I don't think it's odd. A friend of mine is half Malaysian, and she has gorgeous skin and hair. Another woman I know, who is Chinese, is in her eighties - but looks a good 20 years younger.

 

China is very up and coming as a world power, and international variations in IQ test results always indicate that the Chinese tend to have higher IQs than the rest of us. On a subconscious level we might be increasingly associating Chinese looks with success and status.

 

Survival of the fittest. Men are generally more ruthless than women when it comes to that kind of thing, but eventually women will catch on and start to reap the benefits from the surplus of single males in China. In 100 years time, everyone will look like they belong in one of those 1990s Bennetton adverts (the pretty melting pot pictures, I mean. Not the ones featuring Aids victims).

Asians do score somewhat higher on average on IQ tests, but iirc the difference is small. One might argue that Caucasians are naturally more creative, considering that they've been the major recipient of Nobel prizes and that much of the scientic/artistic advances have happened in the Western world.

 

That said I don't think either measure is necessarily an accurate reflection of innate intelligence. Race intelligence arguments are always problematic in that it's impossible to agree on a definition of intelligence and separate correlation from cause.

If you are tying it to intelligence in some way Im not getting, then its hard for me to discern as Ive never found blondes to be any different than other women intelligence wise.

Well I suspect that means high cheekbones, big eyes, super dark silky hair, small noses, good shoulders, that sort of thing.

Maybe you've been brainwashed by seeing Asian movie stars who are selected for their Caucasian-like features or often go under the knife to achieve them. Most ordinary Asians don't have large eyes. Small noses and good shoulders (?) aren't distinctively Asian either.

My preferences seem to cross through a pretty large group of ethnicities. I cant think of any ethnicity that couldnt fit.

 

But its really more about what I dont like than what I do. I cant help certain things that I just find unattractive. And it isnt a short list so...

 

But that aside, I think there are minimum levels of atractiveness for me, and then tis pretty much about everything else.

In my personal opinion (and that's all it is), slavic women are the most beautiful in the world. There are beautiful women of all ethnicities, but Eastern Euro women seem to have the highest proportion of beauties. It's no wonder most models come from EE.

 

I also find that the Asian women that I consider the prettiest look more Caucasian, or are even part white. One of the prettiest Asian women I've seen, Zhang Ziyi has surprisingly European features even though she's fully Asian. Eurasians can be quite beautiful.

 

Then again, I'm American so my preferences in beauty have naturally been influenced by Western ideals.

I think everyone has different tastes. I agree with shadow and ADF that not all Asian women are beautiful. The ones that are though...man!

 

I myself am an equal opportunity man...I find many different women beautiful...why limit yourself.

 

I do find that if I look back most of the women I have been attracted to have three common features, regardless of race, weight, or age.

 

1. They all have dark hair, either brown or black.

2. They all have dark eyes, or maybe hazel.

3. They all have curves...not necessarily big anything..but they all had curves, especially back there....even the skinny ones.

I'm originally from that part of the world, so I verify that it is true.

An average, even homely homely EE girl will pass for a smashing beauty in the US.

Not to mention that there are NO fat women in EE. I went to college with what I'm pretty sure was the only fat young woman in the entire country.

 

That said, I currently prefer asian girls, for obvious reasons (easier to find in the us than EE).

Ive traveled to Hungary, Austria, and Germany extensively in my previous responsbilities. Sometimes for months ata time. And many smaller Slavic nations more intermittently and for shorter periods.

 

I dont find them to be mroe attractive whatsoever, just less diverse depending on the area. I think people who make those statements generally speaking have a certain preference which fits those populations. As a whole they are no more attractive, and if anything its a more bland environment where they all look more or less the same.

 

There may be something to be said for the fact that Americans might be more over weight than those in other countries. However I didnt notice a scarcity of fat slobs in Europe. If there is a difference it wasnt obviously true.

 

What was obviously true was the following. American women are far more hygenic than those Ive met in other countries. Bathing is not optional.

 

And doing something about your teeth and body hair would help as well

what features do you consider to be characteristically Caucasian? I don't find Zhang Ziyi to be that Caucasian looking, maybe she has somewhat lighter skin. But I don't think light skin is characteristic of only Caucasians (and on the other hand, Caucasians can have a somewhat darker skin tone in some cases).

I think it's mainly because we, we meaning my people are different than whites. They find it intriguing, which is perfectly fine. I mean, I probably think some white women are really pretty but when asking white guys they say they are not.

 

It's like eating Chinese food. We Chinese know our food the best and some may seem strange to foreigners, but we rate some of our dishes the best. Well some Americans think Sweet and Sour pork is the best! Hey, we are happy because it's not real Chinese food and they are happy because they think it's good.

Some people still use the term MALAY as a race...but "Malaysian" is not a race. Malaysians are what you call citizens of Malaysia. However, there are Malaysians who are ethnically and racially Malay...and there are Malaysians who are not...i.e. those of the Mongoloid race ( Chinese-Malaysian) and then there are the Indian-Malaysians....(that's another story).

 

The term "Malay" has evolved since it was first used long time ago ( 1700's?) and it has different profound meanings depending on who is using it...

 

One thing for sure, you do not call a Chinese-Malaysian, or Chinese-Filipino or anybody of Chinese descent "Malay" ...some consider it an insult..

Chinese-Malaysians are, really, Chinese. Our ancestors just happened to migrate here ages ago.

Mongoloid is actually the "semi-technical" term for east-Asians (Chinese, Mongolian obviously, Thai, Cambodian, etc.) Basically some people think of the world in terms of groups such as black, white, latin, and Mongoloid. I didn't know it could mean Down syndrome, I think that's odd.

 

EDIT: well also too, I don't particularly like terms such as Mongoloid and this binary thinking but whatever.

I find that's kind of misleading as well because of the cultural differences between Mongolia and other Asian countries.

 

Apparently "Oriental" is also considered incorrect when assigning race to Asians nowadays, even though most people in the 50s(?) grew up with that term. "Latino" is preferred over "Hispanic" apparently, according to race constructionism as of recent times.

 

It seems to me that these terms constantly change because race is repeatedly redefining its physical determinations/boundaries. So confusing.

 

On a side note, do not fret, white girls. I definitely appreciate, and I'm mixed Asian

 

I also noticed that some guys just like petite, fit girls (what Asians seem to represent, key word: seem) and by observing the sexual preferences of men for two years, I can write up an anthropological thesis on this sort of thing.

Er...Caucasoid, Negroid, Mongoloid....? Of course, the term Mongoloid is archaic and politically incorrect...some people would rather use "mongolic'....or Mongolian, as in Caucasian....

 

Yes...Chinese-Malaysians are ethnically Chinese-I don't think anybody was disputing that...but if they are citizens of Malaysia..they are referred to (outside of Malaysia) as...Chinese-Malaysians-or even just "Malaysians". If you are from Malaysia, wouldn't you put your citizenship as "Malaysian". Problem with the Chinese in Malaysia is they want to separate themselves from those that are ethnically and racially Malay ( perhaps because they feel a bit superior than them) and always wants to be identified as Chinese. It's the same story in the Philippines..Chinese-Filipinos. are not satisfied with just being Filipinos,they have make sure their ethnicity is known.

 

Taramere's friend can call her herself "half-Malaysian"...if one of her/his parents is from Malaysia...or ethnically Malay... My daughter is half-Japanese because I am ethnically Japanese, even though I am American.

No..Thais and Cambodians are southeast Asians...most are ethnically and racially Malays.... they are darker than the others who are ethnically Chinese, and have broader noses....among other things...
