I met this girl a few months ago, then re-met her on the internet recently and for some reason it was instant crushville. For both of us, I think. We went out once on a daytime thing and got along great. Definitely some chemistry. There's a second date planned soon and I'm having an absolute health crisis. I have a lot of minor chronic health issues that don't typically bother me much, but it seems like right now everything that has ever gone wrong with me is going wrong; for example, I'm pretty sure I have an ulcer. I know I can play it off one time -- and maybe I'll feel better soon -- but I don't feel like I could actually start *dating* her at the moment, meaning being around more often and dependable and close.

Should I tell her what's going on? Hope that i feel better soon? Or draw back and let things get clearly friendzoned for the moment at least?

What sort of ulcer? Peptic or duodenal? Are your current meds no longer working?

Do you know for sure you have an ulcer? Have you been diagnosed by a physician? I know from personal experience that stress sometimes causes some stomach problems with me. Maybe a potential relationship has you stressed a little.
