We emailed casually on the weekends for about a month, until we finally decided to hang out. He came out up to LA from SD and we went to a baseball game. We hit it off and continued texting throughout that week and hung out again the following weekend, but this time I drove down to SD. I sort of made a mistake in sleeping with him. (What can I say… in the heat of the moment I guess.) Anyways, the following weekend he came to LA again to hang out. From there, he started his training in the military, so we didn’t get a chance see each other for about a month. However, we did continue to text quite frequently. I saw him a couple times the last 2 weeks and now unsure of the whole situation. So my questions are… 1) Is this considered dating? Even though, we use the term “hanging out.” He does pay for majority of our meals and outing. 2) It kind of annoys me that we only text. I would normally call him, but then again I’m unsure of his schedule since he is in the service. And I get the feeling he thinks I prefer him to text me verse calling me. How do I break this cycle? 3) Do you think he is interested in me? Or am I just a booty call? Would a guy travel 130 miles just for a booty call? I do get the feeling that he likes me, but again I’m unsure. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks (:

Having a FWB is the most desirable situation. Having a FWB means you get sex with no commitment. Given a choice, many (read: most) guys will go for that instead of a GF. For them, it is the ultimate win-win situation. If you want something more with this man, find out now what his intentions are. Make sure you're on the same page before going any further.
EcstasyX6 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 That's a tough one based on the information you've provided. The lack of phone calls would be a problem for me as well. Have you considered just asking him where you two stand? Is it possible he's married or involved with someone else which would explain the phone situation?
