It's been a long while since breaking up with my b/f (the only one that noticed me) and for some reason I can't seem to attract a guy.

Do most guys get attracted to a girl as soon as they see her with a dress or other clothes they consider elegant?

I noticed my female friends are always getting checked out and not me?

only gay guys are concerned with fashion and elegant clothes. Does your ass look nice in jeans? That's all straight guys care about.

If I am attracted to a female it really does not matter what she is wearing. As beta mentioned above, I am partial to a girl in t-shirt and jeans...especially if she looks good in those jeans.

I would be great if there were more like that. I been wearing jeans and shirts practically my whole life. Last time I ever wore a dress, think I was around 8 years-old but only because I was forced to on one of my mother's cousin who was getting married. Was one of the ugliest dress I ever saw anyways.

Most guys are like that. The point is...wear what makes you feel attractive. If you feel good about yourself then you will project confidence, and guys will want to be around you.

Guys don't notice dresses, fancy clothes, accessories.....they notice overall shape first. If a girl has a nice shape, she'll look good in anything....especially in tight t-shirt and jeans cuz it accentuates her overall shape without making her look high-maintenance.

Until i got married I hadnt worn a dress in over 10 years.

I dont wear skirts, or really anything feminine, thats just not my thing.

I think its more about your mojo than clothes. OK men like a nice shape, we all know that. But when you're feeling good, it shows.

You dont have to buy dresses to get that, just dress as you are feeling,. If it means a lovely new Hilfiger blazer or something like that then go for it. you'll be amazed at the difference it makes to your attractiveness to be feeling good about yourself.

Most of the time i look a bit like a boy. I dress preppy and I am very small built. I have short hair. But i get noticed because I feel good dressing like that.

that's not completely true. Baggy t-shirts and flip flops can turn even a pretty girl into being as attractive as my grandpa.

While clothes are not the primary factor, tasteful dress can tip a so-so girl over the edge and make her very attractive, while bad outfit can turn a pretty girl into a so-so one.

the clothes don't need to be flashy, expensive trendy. Most important of all - they need to fit, to be understated and classy :).

I strongly prefer girls that obviously put some effort into dressing well. The only girls that can get away with not putting any effort is the 16-21 age group.

I agree with Sam Spade - not all jeans & tshirts are created equal!
