She's been trying to become a actress and has gotten small parts in commercials and background parts in a few movies. She recently got a leading part in a foreign movie but it requires full nudity and sex scene. It's a well known director []. She really wants to do it but not sure if she should. Hoping to get some feed back on this. Personal choice. If it were my wife. I would be happy for her and support her whatever she chooses. But it's her choice if she should bare it all or not. Or if she thinks she can go through with it or not. Sorry it's not much help, but I don't see how anyone can help her in this choice. That's a really personal thing. That said, I work in the entertainment industry and I have been on set when sex scenes have been shot. There is absolutely nothing sexy whatsoever about them. I previously stated I would support my wife, but that is a porn scene. Not a movie scene. I dont care if you think its not porn. She is having actual sex, and it is being filmed. That is porn in my book. I thought we were talking about a sex scene like you would see in a rated r movie here in the states. Like monsters ball halle berry scene or selma hayek desperado scene. The OP is correct, this does happen (I am American so I can't speak for European directors but it is rare here). Look up films by Vincent Gallo (The Brown Bunny and Nymphomaniac in particular)..he is a director who insists on not using simulation. It's only been a couple of times and is VERY frowned up in the film industry. I was an actress for a few years and worked in the industry for a long time.
