iiiii
Just wondering if people here could recommend their absolutely favourite books on marriage & long term relationships? No problems here, I am in a wonderful relationship right now - I just want to put in some effort to keep it great long term.

d0nnivain
Fight For Your Marriage by Markman, Stanley & Blumberg. I also got some insights from Dr. Laura's books, The Care & Feeding of Husbands & The Care & Feeding of a Marriage. Both have a number of sexist ideas but what resonated with me is that you should you put your spouse 1st & be appreciative of the things done for you. I would have liked both books better if they were more gender balanced but again the caring / appreciation model was insightful.
cerridwen
The 7 Principles of Making Marriage Work by John Gottman. It's often used as a textbook for students studying marriage counseling. Lots of practical advice.
