Let's talk about something happy...WHAT ARE YOUR SPOUSES BEST QUALITIES?

Recommended Posts

I wanted to post a happy thread in the marriage forum.

What are your spouses best qualities?

I would have to say:

1. He has given me a gift nobody has.....my daughter (or helped anyway ;))

2. He doesn't control me

3. Treats me like a buddy and a wife

4. Good looking

5. Talks to me instead of fights with me.

6. Actively helps with all aspects (including the dirty diapers) with our daughter.

and more.....

Anyway I wanted to see if this would be a good topic to discuss. I'm kinda down today and instead of wining I thought I would try this approach.

Good Thread!!! I'm a little upset that more aren't posting.....My Spouse's best qualities? Are we sur we have enough room????!!!!

1. The many ways she expresses her love and respect to me:

a. Wakes me up with a kiss and hot coffee.

b. On my days off, leaves me alone and keeps the kids quite until I get up, then it's eggs and bacon, YUM!!

c. How she makes sure I eat a healthy lunch and 3 course meals for supper.....WITHOUT fail.

d. Makes sure I take all my meds for my heart and Parkinson's.

e. Monitors my BP religously.

2. Very, VERY, sexy, model material, and still wants to grow old with this skinny almost bald man.

3. Very fun. Says she has to be or she'd go insane, ( We have 5 kids ).

4. As soon as I walk in the from work, she meets me at the door and we embrace for a good 20 or 30 seconds.

5. Excellent cook.

6. Keeps the kids in line.

7. Has been my best friend for almost 20 years.

Man, I could go on forever.....but you get the hint. Thanks for a positive Thread!!!

tee hee! I wouldn't go so far as to actually call my husband 'helpful'. Lol!

;) If I said that, his head would get even bigger and I'd never get him to do AnyThing! LOL! :bunny:

He's already proud of the fact he dials the phone and tells the lawn service when they need to mow the lawn!

Well, we are monogamous cohabiters, which is the same as being married, pretty much....

My BF...

* Is very genuine. What you see is what you get.

* He is an excellent listener

* He really works at our relationship

* He is a great lover

* He has a value system I really respect

* He treats people well

* He is gregarious and warm

* He has a really sick, twisted sense of humour

* He can have a great time, just doing simple things like swimming in the lake with our dogs. He really enjoys life and I just love that about him.

* He has beautiful green eyes

* He has a GREAT ASS

* Need I say more????

It’s so nice be talking about something good. Some of my boyfriend qualities:

- He trusts me. Even when everything was saying that I was not being honest with him he believed me.

- He is learning Spanish (that was his idea) in order to have a better relationship with my family and making me feel more at “home”.

- He talks to me about every thing that we don’t agree.

- He cares about the people.

- He laughs most of the time and he has a good sense of humor.

- He does the dishes after the dinner.

- He enjoys doing simple things: walking in the middle of a winter night, watching a movie for 10th time…

- He has a really nice butt…

- His eyes are the sweetest and most beautiful green eyes that I have ever seen.
