Unemployed is not a deal-breaker. Lazy and selfish is.

Occupations that are a turn off include:

police

corrections

military

inker

she can look like Gillian Michaels, just not BE Gillian Michaels (if you know what I mean)

sky dive instructor

lumberjack

Is she actively looking and taking care of herself?

I was off work over 7 months and spent that time working out at the gym, getting in the best shape of my life and looking for a job.

I started dating my current man during that time. I took the time I was off to turn my life and attitude around...it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Good thing my man didn't exclude me for being unemployed.

It's what you do with your time off that matters.

Nothing is a dealbreaker depending on the other aspects of a person's personality.

Wait... wait. Stripper is a deal-breaker. Unless she's into Heidegger...

A little shallow? I find the OP's question totally reasonable to ask.
