nycskeptic Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 I am 23 years old and I have been living with my college boyfriend for nearly 3 years. We have been dating for almost 5 years. We are not yet engaged but pretty serious. This past weekend he told me that he had to leave town because he needed to visit his mother whom he hadn't seen in a while. He told me that she really missed him, that they had talked earlier that week, etc. Well, I called her this afternoon and she told me that she hadn't heard from him since last week!! And she had no idea he was planning to visit. I tried his cell-phone, but it goes straight to voicemail. I am devastated that he could lie to me like this, to my face, make up the whole story.
