georgejungle Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 One of my good friends, a dude i've known a Long time, since high school...He's a good guy, we have a lot in common (music, movies, art), but i'll tell ya....this dude has the most negative-sourpuss appraoch to life i've ever seen. AND, he came from a hard upbringing, but constantly has to talk about it. I feel like he's mad at the world sometimes and feels the need to justify his own existance, clarify his loves and hates a lot and just all around expects things to go "his" way and if they don't, he sulks. He'll tell the same story over and over, like it's the first time he's telling it about a certain topic he knows about and if say i happen to bring up something like "Ford Cars" he'll go into a talking marathon about historical facts about Ford, or this or that about Ford, whether i want to hear it or not. He's non-stop. He'll go forever, no concept of time. Anyway, just venting. I'm working with him again recently on some work projects, since we're in the same line of work and wheww, it's rough putting up with him. He's a character. It's just funny to see someone who seems to have a lot of "Low Self Esteem" behavior (i.e. the constantly talking about "What he's done" or "what he's against") have so much EGO.
