Sometimes things are hopless no matter what because opportunities are all favors behind the scenes between the powerful. It's "knowing someone" really and if you don't, hard work and some brown-nosing might get you to there. Link to post Share on other sites

I have watched far less intelligent and hard working people get further ahead because of their work relationships. And I have seen several women get ahead because they chose to sleep with the right superior.
