Annoying complaining co-worker...

he will not shut up sometimes. I have to work next door

to his office and he's CONSTANTLY got a problem with

something. ''Oh, come on, why doesn't this dumb fax machine

work?" ... "Oh, Come on I have voicemail? Can't they wait two

minutes on hold for me? Geez, i got tons of work to do and these

people can't...." on and on and on and on. And he's loud, he's

an overall loud person. He more "whines" than gets angry, but

it's loud and ANNOYING. even when he's on the phone with

customers, he's LOUD. He shouts when he talks, he's one of those

people. LOVEs to make fun of people too and doesn't understand

why people get bent out of shape at his sometimes off color or

rude remarks...but don't tease him, oh no.

 

the boss loves him. leaves him in charge most of the time.

He's not mean nor does he bully me around. I'm sure if he

got confronted by someone mean on the street, he'd not

know what to do. Because when he first came here, he was

very quiet. Now that he's been allowed to spread his wings and

kinda/sorta has his run of the office and his behavior tolerated,

well, he complains...

 

Working with him the past 4 years, i'm about ready to tell

him to shut the F*** UP. It's not fair to the other people

here in the office. But NO ONE says anything. I think i'm the

only one who ever tells him to be quiet, but in a nice way.

 

I've had enough.

lol..sounds terrible. Indeed someone needs to tell him to keep his mouth shut, since his behaviour is distracting other staff members from their work. My boss is somewhat the same but more anger issues there; on top of whining about fax machine/photocopier not working, he bangs on them several times while screaming "shiat! shiat!" before giving up.
