flirting with manager

If [a manager] at work says "I think we have more in common than you think, you only know me from what you see here, not outside work"

What is that suggesting? He's single, and so cute, and I know it's not professional, but I want to leave that place anyways. Any suggestions???

If you are thinking of leaving, then do it. THEN ask him out on a date. You will be able to use the excuse "I wanted to catch up on the old workplace gossip" without jeopardizing your career.

And then if it DOESN;t work out (altho I hope it does of course!!) you won;'t have to see him every day.

thx so much. I just hope he asks me first. I don't want to be the one asking. But in a way he kinda did I think.
