Snownator
Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone here had success with buying from online pharmacies (with a prescription)? For someone who is trying to manage a student loan, online price versus local pharmacies looks very attractive. My RX isn't cheap, 140$ per bottle monthly. Not really sure if online filing is worth it. I've never used one before for buying any meds. I have visited a few websites and notice some of them are seized (lots of scams). If someone had success doing it, I would appreciate an advice what to watch out for when looking for a pharmacy (safety concerns/affordability/product quality). Thanks in advance! Shanex
Be very cautious. Many are scams and you ain't getting your meds. Now to be sure one website in particular is legit, lookup some people who commented about it elsewhere on the Internet. Good luck.
johngalt1149
When I needed them I got blood pressure and cholesterol meds all the time. Now I just use them for Cialis. Never had an issue though it does take some time about 2-4 weeks to get. 10-20% of the price too.
Penguin_hugs
I'm a pharmacist- and pretty dubious about online pharmacies- however in the UK they are regulated. At the bottom of the webpage there is a sign stating they are a registered pharmacy and to click the link for the independent verification that the website is operating legally. Perhaps a similar thing happens in the US?
Titanll
Caveat emptor. I have had good luck in the past but I have heard horror stories. it's a gamble for sure...
blenkins90
Yeah it can be risky for sure (though with the soaring price of some medications it's starting to become more enticing...). But there are some out there that are trustworthy. You just have to dig around to find them lol. There's a few review sites out there that do pretty in-depth analysis (they aren't selling anything usually either which is nice). Did a quick Google search and found []. Hope that helps! Good luck! pureinheart
I would be careful buying from countries other than the US.. some countries IMO have no standards.. and please remember that even if foreign pharmaceuticals say they have particular standards, it does mean they will/are required to follow them. LivingWaterPlease
Snownator, my Dr. (around 50 years old or so and highly respected by others and by me) actually told me when he gave me prescriptions that aren't covered by insurance to go online to some of these sites to fill them. I asked him how I could tell which ones are ok and he told me to look for some designation on the site, but sadly, I can't recall which designation he said to look for. I would also love to know how to evaluate the different websites where you can get prescriptions filled.
