I am thinking it may be causing some irritability and mood swings, a little anxiety on my part. I just made the connection, but I have been so weepy and emotional lately...for the past few months. But, I didn't even make the association until a friend of mine asked about it. I was looking at some blogs about it, and there are definitely some connections. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried a lo-dose bc pill that has caused similar side effects, or any bc in particular with such effects. I have been on everything known to man, and I am thinking of just going back off of it. I've been on this since April, but I am not sure if this is my bc or if I'm just anxious for other reasons. Cypress25 Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Every pill affects every woman differently, so any BC pill could cause the side effects you've mentioned. It's a trial-and-error process, finding the pill that works for you. I would suggest trying a different one until you find one that doesn't cause any side effects. Link to post Share on other sites
