Gale33
Some advice would be appreciated. I have been dating a guy for about 10 months now, we get along good, but we don't really have many things in common, that we like to do for fun....he is a good hearted person and is emotionally there for me and can communicate his feelings openely. We get along good, but I was wondering if you need to have common interests to make the relationship last. My ex boyfriend, on the other hand we had MANY MANY common interests, but he wasn't able to communicate openly and unable to express his feelings to me, we had a very good friendship though...Which is better? or do you need both to make a relationship work??? Any opinions on this would be helpful.. thanks
SuperMonk
Common interests between the two is always good but good communication is much more important than common interests.
lilmoma1973
Haven't you ever heard that saying opposites attract... No i think friendship is a start of a relationship the rest will follow !! You need to be able to communicate that is a major puzzle piece to a relationship ... Always be open and honest with one another!!! Good luck;)
