Should a guy give a girl the “proper” greeting when seeing her?

I’ve started seeing this guy and whenever we see each other he doesn’t really give me a hug or kiss, but when we say our goodbyes-we have our makeout sessions. Should I be worried?

As long as he is slapping you on your ass when he sees you then all should be good

 

I'd bet he is just a little shy about the when and where to hug you, I don't think it is anything wrong and doesn't mean anything negative on his part.. just tip toeing so he doesn't make a mistake.

 

Go in for a hug next time and see what he does.

I'm a hugger and very affectionate and need that from whoever I'm dating.

 

Thankfully, most men I meet and date are good at greeting.

 

For those who weren't for whatever reason, I just told them straight up;

 

"I'm Italian and a hugger, if you're dating me you'll have to get used to greeting me properly"

Next time you see him, greet him with your arms wide. Problem solved.

Technically a proper greeting would be a handshake.

 

 

Since you have already had makeout sessions, if you want a kiss hello, kiss him hello. Don't sit there like a potted plant getting miffed because he hasn't read your mind to figure out what you want that you are not asking for.
