His texting/email style is driving me crazy though, I just don't get it. This is a sample of a conversation with him. Friend texts : hey I reply : hi how are you? Friend no response Friends texts : Hi I respond : hi , hope all is good with you an hour later friend texts : sorry , busy at work can we talk later? I respond : sure ttyl Friend: NOTHING for a week Friend texts: what are you doing? Me: cleaning , what are you up to? Friend: no response 2 hours later Friend texts : hey Me: hi, (asks a question) Friend : No response WHY do people bother to initiate a conversation and then DON'T respond ? I have stopped talking to this person because I feel like he sends out a bunch of 'hi' texts to different people , then responds to the one he most feels like talking to. The strange thing is, when we used to text before he would talk for a long time , so I know he is capable of it. Why do people do this?? Link to post Share on other sites
