newmoon Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 My bf of about 1 year and I just got back from a 5 day vacay - we had only been away 2 days together prior to that. We have been back for 3 days now and there has been no contact between us at all - no calls, no texts, no email, no future dates set up, nothing. I'm not really concerned since I rather feel overwhelmed by him and the amount of time we were together; it feels like too much. I am guessing he might feel the same and we are both taking time to decompress. But, is this normal? To avoid someone after having been away together? I was just thinking that if you vacation with a hubby/wife you have to come home with them and be on vacation with them so there is no escape :-) Is the fact that we want to avoid each other after 5 days of vacationing a bad sign that we tire of each other quickly? We did have several arguments during the vacation, but we argue at home too so I'm not overly concerned about that; the vacay went good overall. Link to post Share on other sites
