I have driven a lot on the highway and it always sucks to nail something, I haven't nailed a deer....yet but I have come incredibly close (to the point of ditching and having to be towed out, I still have the image of it in my head). Hopefully it went quick, I have seen some not go quick by any stretch and we have had to move some too. It will stick with you for awhile. Link to post Share on other sites

At 70 MPH it's not unusual for the animal to go through the windshield and slam the driver in the head and neck. There are all kinds o other scenarios which don't bode well for the driver or passengers of an automobile colliding with a tall animal at high speeds. Congratulations for dodging a big time hurt.
