Doesn't it suck? Doesn't it hurt when you see fairly plain young girls who you outleagued in the day and you know that now they have more game than you just because of time? Theyll never know what you had and how intense it was. They'll never know that they could never understand.

I can see how you feel B4R but its a part of life that we all go through so even though it sucks, we all have to learn to accept it.

I don't understand what you mean B4R...and yes, it seems you are becomeing more unstable mentally and i'm becomeing frightened. Is it cause of that woman and girl? Women are evil.

Hope he's not out buying guns.

Aging isn't THAT bad. Typically you notice details about yourself a lot more than anyone else does. You have to recognize when you're being too hard on yourself. When you figure out how to do that, teach me.

The young girls don't have anything over me except youth... big deal! No, it doesn't hurt or suck -- for me anyway.

Age is a number. It is how I feel inside that counts. And at 48 I look ten years younger and still have a well toned fit and athletic body. I guess it is a California thing. :)

b4r, there are two ways to age, gracefully or fighting it tooth and nail. I think men look better when they start aging, especially the ones with laughter lines and creases beside their mouths.

While my size and measurements haven't changed, I've noticed some signs of aging such as the inability to mogul ski at the pace I used to. I can no longer do without some sleep at night (4 - 6 hours), where I used to play all night, then go to work the next day.

I'm going to continue to stay in shape for reasons of health and vanity, but no one can convince me to have cosmetic surgery of any kind, no matter what.

Yeah, aging can bite - but then again I wouldn't want to be in my 20's again and go thru THAT anguish! LOL!

Just remember - age will catch up with them too, and someday their bodies will creak and groan when they get out of a chair and it will take them five minutes to stand up straight too.

Nah, I was blotto when I wrote this and my head is totally pounding now.

I didn't do so well this semester and tonight at dinner I was given six weeks to get out of this house. I'm under a lot of stress and taking out in all sorts of ways.

Don't lose any sleep over me , but I appreciate it :p

Yes some days aging does suck but for myself it has nothing to do with your reason you posted.

To answer your post I wouldn't feel too down about it. Like others have said what goes around comes around, time will catch up to anyone, you can't hide from it and you can't out run it, you can only try to fool yourself.

Why do your threads always depress the f8ck out of me :p

I happen to love getting older..

I'm reaping the benefits of experience

I'm better looking in my 40's than my 20's and if I age like my Dad did then I'm going to get better looking in my 50's

I have tons more money in my aging youth than I had when I was young..

I love life better today than I did when I was younger..I smile more..I'm also Sober...

Dating is better too.. Sex is easier and so are relationships as the BS walls have come down on both sides..

My bones creak sometimes though and my joints hurt sometimes.. that is the only thing I can think off about aging that sucks..

I still think I'm in my twenties, so then when I look in the mirror, I'm a bit shocked. I seem to have permanent bags under my eyes, but not many wrinkles yet.

Gray hairs, I pluck them out at red lights. Gives me something to do.

I am happier now than when I was in my 20s... I would never go back.

I look much better now....but this is not necessarily true for men my age... they look much much older... women, in general, take more pride in their appearance as they get older (dye their hair, take care of their skin, etc.)

I have a lot more money... therefore ...a better life.

I have more time to enjoy my life now (no kids at home, no partner that snores or leaves his underwear on the floor LOL).

But when I stop and think that I'm almost 55... it sucks!!!

No one wants to be old and 'invisible'.

Well, I'm in my 20's and it seems like most people my age are more concerned with ****ing around and getting that out of their system before they get serious with someone, so I'm not really dreading getting older.

My OP is vile and not based on reality. I asked the moderators to remove it , but I'm not sure they got my message, because its still here.

I'm under a tremendous amount of stress and I think I'm going insane, plus I'd drunk nine beers when I worte it but that's no excuse. Too bad there's no breathalizer for making comments on public message boards. I apologize.

Whats the blood alcohol limit for posting on forums? Is it like 0.35? I've done some drunk posting and its always got me into trouble. Now I have this mechanism where I have to blow into my laptop and if my BAC is below the set limit then the laptop will turn on. I don't know it was some court-ordered thing.

48 is the new...28? 38? Anyway, I forget. But looks and feel aside, I wouldn't trade 44 for 34--and definitely NOT for 24 again! Why? Because my head is in a much better place (with one or two hiccups, duly noted in excruciating detail elsewhere in this forum), and my career, my life and work balance and my interpersonal relationships are all in a much better place today. I have more balance, more life perspective and more life experience. Sure, life still throws me punches, but I'm more grounded and more accepting of what I can't change--about situations or myself (which helps me to be less judgmental and more accepting of others). I'm more confident in myself (maybe too much so at times). I may not be the youngest or prettiest woman in the room, but who cares? Character has taken the place of beauty, and character never fades. :)

I can laugh at myself and value that quality of self-deprecation in others. Sure, my eyes have more laugh lines now but heck, I EARNED them, so I wear them proudly! :-)

I don't feel the need to be pretentious or put on facades. I am what I am, and I am WHO I am. I don't feel the need to apologize for that.

I don't feel that I'm getting old, nor do I care that the clock is ticking--I'm too busy living and enjoying every moment to listen to it anyway!
