My only assumption is that she had quite a long history w/ the ex (they had been close to being married before) and felt she needed to give it one last shot. Why didn't she tell me she had feelings for the ex still? So many unanswered questions. The answers are irrelevant. All they will do is prompt more questions. The only thing that's relevant is that she's not with you. The reasons don't matter, because it wasn't reason that caused her to go back. It was feelings, and those aren't logical.
