We had been a couple for about a month and a half, and were on a mini-vacation together to a historical site. We got a motel, and were very close to having sex for the first time. She backed out at the last second, and eventually revealed the reason to be she missed her ex boyfriend still. I don't really want any diciphering of the incident, but am just wondering what you guys would have done at the moment. What I DID was get angry, and eventually lost a night of sleep fretting over it as I already cared deeply for her already. What I WISH I did now was turn around, go home, and end the relationship. Im assuming you wanted to get into the sack with her that's why you got frustrated when she denied it from you and you got angry (yikes!) What are you're really asking is: what you should have done to get the "job" done right? Hmmmm...I think you just weren't able to put her in the "right" or "ripe" mood. Did you not come prepared? Didn't you bring any Marvin Gaye music with you? I find having "Let's Get It On" on my celphone helps set the mood and the hints (although I carry around the Jack Black cover) but that's just me. You may have just "rushed" her, that's why she backed out at the last second...in fact, she may have just been tired with all the historical stuff you experienced...(which probably triggered her blast from the past -- hence ex-bf) Again, you should have been prepared to make "adjustments". since history was kinda your "theme"...why not bring up the Kama Sutra? Finally, getting angry was the worst thing you could have done....you should have done the opposite...instead, you should have acted grateful!!! The answer is of course YES. BUT..... you're only human! Hindsight is 20/20. Next time you'll recognize this red flag and run screaming as soon as someone mentions not being over an ex.... Just like I now run screaming from ANYONE who's "best friend" is an ex-girlfriend. Right. Been there, done that..... never again hahahaaaaaa! Link to post Share on other sites
